Group Personal Training

  • Introduction to group training

Group personal training is like getting the best of both worlds: personal attention from myself and the motivational energy of a group setting. It typically involves a small group of people working out together under my guidance. This setup allows for more individualized feedback than a traditional class, but it’s also more cost-effective and socially engaging than one-on-one sessions.

    It includes:

Customized Workouts: Tailored to fit individual fitness levels within the group.

Supportive Environment: Encouragement from both the me and fellow participants.

Variety: I aim to keep things fresh and fun by delivering different exercises and routines.

Accountability: It's easier to stick to a workout plan when you're part of a team.

  • The benefits of group personal training

Group personal training has several benefits that can make your fitness journey more enjoyable and effective. Here are a few key advantages:

Motivation: Working out in a group setting can boost your motivation. The energy of the group can be infectious, helping you push through challenging workouts.

Accountability: Being part of a group can increase your accountability. You're more likely to show up and stick to your fitness plan when others are expecting you.

Social Interaction: Group training provides an opportunity to meet new people and build friendships. The camaraderie can make exercising more fun and less of a chore.

Variety: Group workouts often involve a variety of exercises, which can keep your routine fresh and exciting. This variety can help prevent workout boredom and keep you engaged.

Cost-Effective: Group training sessions are typically more affordable than one-on-one personal training, making it a cost-effective option for many people.

Supportive Environment: Exercising in a group creates a supportive environment where everyone encourages each other. This positive atmosphere can help you stay committed to your goals.

Expert Guidance: Even in a group setting, you still receive my guidance and make modifications or corrections to ensure you're performing exercises correctly and safely.

  • How many people in group personal training?

The ideal number of participants in a group personal training (PT) session can vary based on a few factors like the type of workout, space, attention to each individual. Generally, a good group size I like to work with is from 4 to 8 people. This size allows for a sense of community and motivation from group dynamics while still ensuring that everyone gets adequate attention from myself.
